JENNIFER CANNON-UNIONE, Attorney at Law

Jennifer Cannon-Unione is a founding partner of Dixon & Cannon, Ltd. who has many years of litigation experience representing clients in both civil and criminal cases throughout Washington State. She has been recognized for winning many trials in district, municipal, and superior courts.

Jennifer Cannon-Unione is licensed to practice law in the states of Arizona and Washington.

Jennifer is a compassionate and committed attorney who has gained a great deal of respect from both her clients and her colleagues. She has a reputation in the legal community as an excellent and aggressive trial attorney for both her criminal defense and personal injury trial clients.

As a senior trial attorney for insurance companies, Jennifer defended hundreds of policy holders for auto injury and premises liability cases in jury trials, bench trials, motions, mediations, and arbitrations. She was also selected to be an attorney for a specialized fraud unit that focused on defending insurance policy holders against fraudulent insurance claims.

As a criminal defense attorney, Jennifer handled criminal misdemeanor and felony cases in district, municipal, and superior courts. She successfully defended clients in hundreds of jury trials, bench trials, motions, pre-trial and probation hearings, and appellate briefs. Jennifer also handled immigration issues in the context of criminal cases.

Jennifer Cannon-Unione is a graduate of Suffolk Law School in Boston, MA where she volunteered at the Student Urban Remedy Foundation, Shelter Legal Services Foundation, and Boston Partners in Education. Jennifer also participated in second and third year trial competitions as well as the Justice Tom Clark Appellate Competition.

Here in Washington, Jennifer has enjoyed coaching and judging University of Washington law students in Mock Trial and Appellate Court competitions. She is a member of the Arizona State Bar Association, Washington State Bar Association, Federal Western District Court, Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Washington Defender Association, and Washington State Trial Lawyers Association.
